Where do you fall on the scale of success? Does your home business suffer because you are not at the top of the bell curve when it comes to achievement? When starting out in network marketing we all have the same starting point. Some will rise to the top quicker then others because of the attitude they project while others will never reach their true potential as they grow their home based business.

As I work with others in my network marketing company and help people build their home based business, I find that they tell me there is not nearly enough time in the day for them to do what they have to do to grow their business. They think that just talking to one person who agrees to look at their web site is good enough for them for the day. Success in network marketing starts with an attitude of more then enough.

When building a home based business you should have thoughts in your head that you will have more then enough people to introduce to your network marketing company. There are so many people I meet that want to become successful but don’t do nearly enough work to rise above the challenges that working from home brings. They think that by just joining a company that is good enough and that they don’t take the personal responsibility to grow their network marketing company.

What if you were growing plants in a garden, could those plants survive if you did not water them? Do you think that they will thrive just because nature will take care of them? Well sometimes, when you are lucky you can find the right network marketing company at the right time and get into a position that no matter what you do you will have more then enough people in your organization to take the summer months off and travel the world because your home based business is making more then enough money.

Do you believe that you should go through life just barely getting by? Living paycheck to pay check with not nearly enough to manifest your goals and dreams. On the other hand, maybe you think that where you are now is good enough. You have enough to take a two-week vacation somewhere but can work the rest of the year just to pay it off.

I feel sorry for the people who go through life with the not nearly enough or good enough mentality. They go out and spend their hard-earned money on things like flat screen TV’s or fancy new cars with sub woofers and GPS systems but they never invest that kind of money into starting a home based business. When you work from home in a network marketing company your out of pocket expense is far less then any flat screen TV.

When you start any business there are costs involved. When starting a network marketing home based business your risk is low, there are clearly advantages to supplementing your income, and starting a home based business as opposed to buying a flat screen TV. When you start to grow your business at first it seems like there is not nearly enough people who want to do what you do. Then if you keep at it what ever your network marketing company is you will find that you will come to a point where you feel you have done good enough. I challenge you to get to the point where you feel you have more then enough customers and people working in your network marketing company so that you can enjoy you the fruits of your efforts.

Do not lie down before you get to a point where your success can’t be stopped and live in the more then enough part of the bell curve. When your home based business reaches the levels of more then enough you will be in the top 3% of successful network marketers.

They say that experience is the best teacher. How many times have I heard that you need experience to be successful in network marketing and the home based business industry? So many people start with good intentions but experience tells me that once they get in the game they usually drop the ball just before the finish line. Then they are off to another game to start all over again.

Experience in network marketing and the home based business industry is what you get when you get what you don’t want. Most people want to become successful when they start network marketing and have passion about the product or service they are going to offer people. They can’t understand why everyone they know doesn’t see it the way they do and struggle with recruiting and finding customers for their products.

They become experienced by getting what they don’t want and they learn by doing what doesn’t work. How many times in your network marketing company have you heard to make up a list of all of your friends and family who you think would want to start a home business or who you can tell about your network marketing home based business? We all know that experience tells us that your friends and family won’t join you in your network marketing business. What about when you are just starting out? How are you going to get the experience you need in your home business if you don’t start telling people about your network marketing company?

Network marketing is about bringing people together and your experience is something that can be good or bad depending on how you are marketing your home business. Some people have a great warm market and will follow you into the gates of hell just because you said there is a prize just beyond the horizon. That is your warm market of people who like you, trust you and more importantly believe in you. Well how do you get those people to do that? Your experience at success must be demonstrated to those who are going to fork over their cash and become part of your network marketing home business organization.

Sometimes when you find someone who joins your home based network marketing business you want to give him or her all of your experience so they don’t make the same mistakes you do. There are those that will embrace this approach and others who just want to know what to do. I find the ones who just want me to tell them what to do never take the time to bring their own experience into the network marketing home business and just want the easy way to become a success. Well there is no easy way to become a success in network marketing unless you gain the experience of failure or at least the experience of hitting the ground and scrapping up your knees so to say.

Working from home in a home business using the network marketing business model can be a challenge at times but the rewards are great. You know, when launching the space shuttle most of the energy it takes to get the rocket off the ground is at the start of the lift off. What would happen if NASA decided that it should stop the momentum of the ship and shut down the engines just as the rocket starting lifting off? For most people in the home based network marketing business that is something that they usually experience.

They shut down the engines just before lift off and move to another company that promises less resistance at lift off. The truth is each network marketing company has the same challenges at the beginning when launching. If you want to reap the rewards of working from home in your own home based business then be prepared to put all of your effort into the take off because as your network marketing ship gains momentum, the amount of effort to get into outer space becomes less and less until you are floating effortlessly amongst the stars.

The tragic freak accidental crane collapse in NYC this Saturday that killed 4 and injured 17 others has hit a central nerve in our organization. My very dear friend and independent business owner Brad Cohen was one of the 4 construction workers Killed at the scene.

I had a conversation with Brad on the Friday before the accident. He was upbeat and excited about our growing business and how it was starting to provide the income he needed to never do construction again. I affirmed to him that by working together with ITV he would be able to walk away from his construction job forever.

Sadly, I will never have the opportunity to talk to my friend again and my heart goes out to Katie his wife and all of his Family.

Often times I wonder when working my home based business if the people who I am talking to have difficulty believing in themselves. It is hard enough in network marketing to get the people to believe in the products, the company and me but the challenge is for me to have them believe in themselves and the fact that they can be a success.

As I talk to people who have called me from the home based business infomercial that our company broadcasts, I find that the people calling have a common denominator and that is they all want to make money yesterday but don’t have enough in their bank account to write a check today. It is really a shame that in the greatest country in the world a 60-year-old man or woman can’t write a check to start a home based business. What is even worse is that at that point in their life they need to find a way to earn extra money from home because their current job or pension just isn’t providing the income that they need to survive.

I also find that most people I talk to have never been in a home based business or even owned any kind of business at all. Then there are those who have tried working from home and failed because they don’t like the activity of network marketing and bothering your friends relatives and business associates. For every activity there is a price and if you don’t like to work a network marketing company the traditional way then there are other methods that you can use that will cost money to implement and it takes time for any business to become successful even those of the brick and mortar type.

What I find confusing is the lack of vision and commitment of people to become a network marketing success. Even traditional business takes a 5-year commitment to really reap any reward and a home based business is no different. I find that when people request more information about working from home in a home based business they feel like they are entitled to something for nothing and have a hard time understanding why there are start up costs involved. Even people who have the money to start a home based business don’t have the drive to do what it takes to become successful in the company they join and that is why they fail.

If you want real success working from home and in network marketing then you must find a mentor who has the desired success you want to achieve. You must have the vision and understanding that “get rich quick” will only happen to people with money and those who have a shoestring budget or no money to get a home based business off the ground will be working much harder to reach a level of success. The problem with people I encounter is that even though most of them want to work at home, they don’t want to do the work involved or invest money into systems because their doubt far exceeds their certainty of success.

As I look for business partners in my network marketing company I know that my primary task is to sift out and sort those who are just wasting my time and those who have the vision and desire to do the work it takes to reach a level of success that very few will have working a home based business. My posture is such that my certainty in my company and my abilities to operate and be a success in my network marketing home based business far exceeds the doubt of the person I am talking to.

If you are working in a home based business or network marketing company and you want to have the success that so many others are looking for but never find then be sure to believe in yourself, your company and your mentor so that your certainty will far exceed your doubt. Then, no matter what network marketing company or home based business you are in your success is inevitable.
